The role is designed to help you build a long term career in IT and technology sales, learning from your peers and through dedicated training you will become an expert advisor to your customers and we will continue to invest in your future to ensure you have the best possible chance of success. After your initial training you will be responsible for creating and managing your own set of new accounts, both through incoming enquiries and external calling. When you have the required experience you will also be given the opportunity to manage existing key accounts, and as we grow the opportunity for management or specialist training will definitely be available to the right candidates. This will involve helping your customers to make the right choice, designing the solution, managing the sales process from start to finish and being rewarded with an excellent commission plan designed to drive you to succeed with fantastic rewards for over achievement.
o Learn all aspects of the IT and telephony marketplace
o Construct your own database of key accounts
o Build relationships and learn how to create opportunities from them
o Learn how to be a consultative salesperson, driven by helping customers find the best solution for them
o Work closely with your team members to share knowledge, best practices and experiences
o Be meticulous with your customer engagements, ensuring positive communications and the professional portrayal of the business at all times
o Manage your own pipeline, prospects and accounts using the company CRM and finance systems
o Be supported in your career goals and encouraged to become a specialist in your field, with additional training provided to facilitate this
o Learn advanced sales techniques as you progress

o You will have at least 1 years’ experience of selling to businesses
o You understand the benefits of technology and can articulate that to a customer
o You are proactive, outgoing and engaging in a professional and friendly manner
o You are articulate and express yourself well in writing
o You are honest and say what you mean. You keep your promises.
o You want to succeed in everything you do, but not at the expense of your morals
o You never sell anything to a client that will not help them
o You are passionate about getting results and delivering to meet or exceed customer expectations
o You are interested in new technologies and like to learn new systems and keep up to date with what’s new in your area
o You are proficient in the use of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
You will be based out of our Reading office. However, as we use all the technology that we provide to our clients, remote and flexible working is routine, along with client visits in the future.
